This is the story of my Locost. The car was based on a Haynes manual called "Build your own sports car for £250". It actually cost about £1800 on the road. Still pretty good.This is the donor car, a 1980 Ford Escort mark 2. After a search of only a few days we found this car about 25 miles away for £50. It still had a short MOT and I drove it home without trouble.
